Sign Of Spring on Mackinac Island

You can tell by the big smiles on the faces of the handlers, when the horses begin

returning to the Island.   Folks who live year-round on the Island also love this time of year.   To them it means that the sleepy Island in the winter is now gearing up for all the visitors who will heading their way soon.

The return of the Horses to Mackinac Island , brings cheers and smiles from the Islands residents.  I have been on the Island for the return of the horses, and they are so smart they sense that this is where they are suppose to be.

The horses seem excited and ready to get back to work, after a winter off the Island.
