Q: What's the correct way to spell the Simon & Garfunkel song...is it “Cecelia” or “Cecilia”? And is it about anybody?

A: “Cecilia.” Paul Simon once said he couldn't recall the exact basis for the title but he did realize that Cecilia is the Goddess of Music (Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians, according to the Catholic church). The odd rhythm on the record is Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel slapping their thighs and Paul's brother Eddie whacking a piano bench. It reached #4 in 1970.
