Should Drivers be Reimbursed for Pothole Damage
Run-ins with potholes are not only frustrating, but also expensive, costing U.S. drivers about $3 billion annually, according to a 2016 survey from the American Automobile Association.
IF you are unlucky enough to run into a pothole someday, there is a chance the government will reimburse you. But the odds of a payout are stacked against you.
If you do plan to ask the government to compensate you, there are steps you can take to improve your claim.
For example: use your phone to snap photo's of the pothole and any damage it caused your vehicle. Click here on the Lansing State Journal for more information.
