Several pieces of artwork were stolen this past weekend during the East Lansing Art Festival.  A Chicago artist said six of her paintings were stolen from her booth either late Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.

Apparently, they managed to navigate around the artist's booth and grabbed specific paintings and the stolen paintings were her most high profile.

The value of the stolen artwork was $3,400.  Among the pieces were paintings of an elephant, a peacock and several intricate shapes.  Here's the latest from the Lansing State Journal.
