School Safety a Priority in Lansing
According to the Lansing State Journal Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and Police Chief Mke Yankowski today announced a program that puts adult volunteers in and around Lansing High Schools to try to stop fights and other confrontations. Last year a shooting outside of Sexton High school injured 2 students. This program seeks to stop these confrontations before they escalate with adults driving, walking and biking the neighborhoods around the schools. Do you think this will make a difference?
