Welcome to the weekend!   Tonight there are a couple of drive in movies The Turner street outdoor Theatre has musical guest "Gifts and Creatures" opening up for "Flight of the Navigator" at the corner of Turner and Grand River and The City of Lansing presents "The Lego Movie" on the Groesbeck golf Course  There are also plays at 7 & 9pm at venues around Old Town as part of the Renegade Theatre Festival.

New Movies this week:    “The Giver” starring Meryl Streep, “The Expendables 3” with Sylvester Stallone and Jason Stathem, and “Let’s be Cops” starring Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr.

 It’s a Touch tone Free Movie Weekend on WFMK.  Be caller 9 when you hear the sound of the WFMK Touch tones and win a pair of tickets to the NCG Eastwood Cinema’s

 Festivals this weekend include “The Renegade Theatre Festival” with live theatre shows in venues throughout Old Town.  Also in Old Town “Art Feast” featuring sidewalk sales and a food truck rally.  The Grand Art Market is at the Lansing City Market.  The annual Ox Roast runs through Sunday in Dewitt

 While the Renegade Theatre Festival is going on you can still see “The Big Bang” at Williamston theatre

 Habitat for Humanity Lansing has their annual Bike to Build fundraiser starting and ending in DeWitt.
