Red Cedar River With New and Improved Fishing Spot
According to the Lansing State Journal, anglers could have a new and improved fishing spot along the Red Cedar River.
A $427, 178 grant will help to pay for fish habitat construction on the river between Harrison Road and Kalamazoo Street.
The Michigan Department of Natural resources grant also will support the stabilization of the roughly 4,000 feet of channel from Municipal Park to the corner of Harrison Road and Kalamazoo Street.
The River Trail along the Red Cedar between Clippert Street and Harrison Road often floods in the spring or after a hard rain. Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
