When it comes to making driving safer, that's a good thing for everyone.

Another pro when it comes to Daylight Saving Time is when the day is lighter a little bit longer, people watch less television and participate in more outdoor activities like golf, softball, and so many other activities.

Changing sleep patterns, even by one hour, goes against a person’s natural circadian rhythms and has negative consequences for health. One study found that the risk of a heart attack increases 10% the Monday and Tuesday following the spring time change.

A couple of things to keep in mind when you set your clocks ahead on Saturday night before bed time is make sure you don't sleep in on Sunday. Wake up at your normal time. You can take a little nap later in the day if necessary.

Also, you might not want to let your kids do any napping on Sunday or Monday just so they can stay sleepy at bedtime.
