According to the Lansing State Journal, the State Court of Appeals has ruled against the city of Potterville in the city's latest appeal in a fight over whether its ambulances and fire trucks, rather than a neighboring township's, get sent to local schools.

The ruling, issued late last month, is the latest development in a long running dispute over fire and emergency services in the community.

The city alleged that an agreement established in 2015 between the township and the school district for fire and EMS services is illegal and that the city has exclusive authority to respond to emergency calls there.  Click on the above link for more information.
