Pinball Pete's has been around now for 40 years! The first Pinball Pete's was opened in East Lansing (and created) by Tim Arnold in September 1976 and has been a favorite hangout and entertainment center ever since.

Wait a minute...if it was created by "Tim" then why is the moniker "Pete" in the business logo? It's not named after anyone in particular...and maybe you already know the answer: it's the name they gave the pink elephant that is proudly displayed in the Pinball Pete sign.

I used to hang out at Pinball Pete's til the wee hours back in the 70's & 80's, just like many others...playing the games of the day: Pac-Man, Asteroids, Phoenix, Berzerk, Galaga, Space Invaders, Breakout, Gunfight, Pong (the very first game!), Frogger, Dig Dug, Centipede, Donkey Kong and others that I can't recall the names.

And Pete's is still going strong, one of the few arcade gaming establishments left in the country.

Pinballmuseum.org did a wonderful article on Pinball Pete's with much more historical info for you...CLICK HERE to read the article!

Then, get off yer duffs and go play some games at Pete's....TONIGHT!
