It was 27 years ago this month – May, 1990 – that Paige Renkoski vanished.

This has remained one of the – if not THE – most famous cold cases in Lansing history.

On May 24, 1990, Paige’s Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais was found still running, with her purse and shoes inside but no sign of the driver…….ANYwhere. And it has remained thus ever since.

Thousands of tips have been given to authorities but they haven’t led to anything definitive in this case that has been plaguing the Mid-Michigan area for over a quarter-century.

So just where IS this “maroon minivan” that people say they saw parked next to Paige’s car alongside I-96 minutes before she disappeared? Was an owner ever located?

We’ve heard the tales about who has been suspected in the past: 1) a group of three or four men and 2) just ONE man…not to mention different races, sizes, sexes, ages, etc.

I have no theories, no leads, no suspects…just hope this mystery gets solved so the family can get closure and put it to rest.
