The guys of One Direction have already conquered world tours, album charts and even movie theaters. But could they be working on a television series?

The Daily Star reports that writers in Los Angeles are working on a TV comedy/music series for the boy band. The idea would have the guys living in Los Angeles and solving problems for their friends. And, of course, there would be 1D music featured in each episode.

A source close to the band tells the newspaper, "A new TV show is also being discussed. At this stage the pilot sees them living in Los Angeles by the beach. Comedy writers will be working on it, so that it really gives all the boys a chance to shine, and be a great advert for their new music. The show will be peppered with guest cameos, too."

"The plan is for the boys to see a pilot in the spring," they added.

This wouldn't be the first time a One Direction TV show has been rumored. Back in March 2012, Ryan Seacrest first revealed that there was interest by studio execs for a 1D TV show but there hasn't been any additional chatter about that project until now.

The paper also reports that while One Direction is currently in the middle of their 'Where We Are' world tour, they are also working on another tour for 2015 titled 'On the Road Again' targeted for next spring.

What do you think, Directioners? Would you want to see a One Direction TV show?
