Okemos Road Bridge Has been Under Construction Since March

According to WILX- TV 10, the Okemos Rd. bridge over the Red Cedar River has been under construction since March.  Bill Conklin, managing director of the Ingham County Road Department says, the project has been on time.

Conklin says it might not look like much work is getting done from the road, that's because most of it is happening under the bridge, and work is temporarily paused while more parts come in.

Until the work is done, people headed northbound on Okemos have to take a detour.  Everything is on target for
