After two years of being somewhat quarantined at home during the coronavirus pandemic, Michiganders are ready for some Michigan summer fun.

One of the major summer events taking place in Michigan's Traverse City is the very popular "National Cherry Festival."

The National Cherry Festival is so much fun with thousands and thousands of people from all over Michigan attending this 9 day festival.

According to mlive.com:

The festival in Traverse City runs from Friday, July 1 through Saturday, July 9 and features dozens of events, everything from a parade, midway, the Ultimate Air Dogs, an Air Show, bike races, food, drinks and concerts.

Who doesn't love a great concert?

On Saturday, July 2, the one and only Sheryl Crow will perform at the National Cherry Festival. Sheryl Crow puts on a great show featuring most of her incredible hit songs. I went to a Sheryl Crow concert at Common Ground in Lansing several years ago and she was fantastic!

Not only great music at this year's National Cherry Festival, but what about some laughter to go along with it?

How would you like to see comedian/actor Jim Gaffigan? Jim will perform his stand up comedy routine on Wednesday July 6. in Traverse City.

Jim Gaffigan and Sheryl Crow at the National Cherry Festival, that in itself is worth paying the higher gas prices just to see those two incredible performers.

There's going to be a huge celebration of fun July 1 through July 9 at the National Cherry festival. So much to see and do at one of the most awesome spots in Michigan.
