According to the Detroit Free Press, Mountain Dew has made amends. After flubbing the label on Michigan's Upper Peninsula in a new DEWnited States campaign last month, the soft drink brand released a U.P. themed bottle over the weekend.

Twitter account @UpperPeninsula shared the special label, which features the Mackinac Bridge, a snowmobiler, the U.P's 906 area code, a kayaker and Pictured Rocks.

Yoopers shared all those U.P. features and more after Mountain Dew apologized for portraying the peninsula as part of Wisconsin in its bottle campaign last month.

Mountain Dew representatives released the new bottle at Marquette's Upper Peninsula Supply Co. last weekend to a line of Dew enthusiasts that wrapped around the store.

The company will also make an appearance at the Upper Peninsula State Fair.  For more information, please click on the above link.
