Monday's episode of The Bachelor took a very serious turn.

Contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes told Colton Underwood that she was sexually assaulted in college. She went into detail about how she was drugged, photos were taken when she was unconscious, shared on social media, and even how the hospital refused to provide a rape kit. And how that experience has affected her and relationships in her life. It was a conversation that she felt she needed to have. (People)

Colton responded with the story of his “first love,” who is U.S. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman. She testified last year at the sentencing trial of Dr. Larry Nassar, who assaulted more than 300 women. Colton recalled Aly’s difficulty with expressing her pain in public. (Entertainment Weekly)
