According to this film's description, "A former migrant laborer named Ruben Alfaro, then a barber in Lansing, organized the first mass march by migrant workers and their supporters to demand inclusion in the state's workers compensation and social welfare programs."

This march - from Saginaw to the capitol steps in Lansing - took place in 1967. Among the many photographs, you'll see pictures of George Romney and William Milliken.
