This incredible museum located in Saginaw on West Genesee Avenue just reopened on Tuesday, April 27.

I love museums, because I find them very educational.  Back in my days at grade school here in Lansing, my class would go on several field trips to visit local museums in the Greater Lansing area.

I remember seeing dinosaurs, ships, airplanes, trains, and all sorts of fun and interesting things to either look at or read about.

If you get the chance to go to the Children's Museum in Saginaw, you'll most likely notice a few changes.

Mlive.com tells us:

Visitors may notice a new mural inspired by the role agriculture plays in the Great Lakes Bay Region.  The mural, painted by Grand rapids artist Michael Pfleghaar, is part of the museum's Aunt Sugar's Farm & Uncle Pickle's Barn gallery and features fields of crops typically found in Michigan, including sugar beets, pickles, corn, soybeans, wheat, potatoes, hay, pumpkins, and apples, as well as a farm with livestock and horses.

This is exactly why people really enjoy going to museums.  You get to look at new works of art and all kinds of interesting elements that most museums bring to life.
