Michigander from Battle Creek Wins $25,000 a Year
Can you imagine waking up in the morning, checking the numbers on your scratch off lottery ticket, and then realize you've won thousands and thousands of dollars for life?
That's exactly what happened to a Michigander in Battle Creek. His name is Michael Justice and he is one lucky winning man.
The game he played is called "Lucky for Life" and his jackpot is worth $25,000 a year, for life!
Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Michael bought his winning ticket in Battle Creek at a Marathon gas station on East Michigan Avenue.
This truly is the game of a lifetime for Michael Justice. That's incredible! So how will Justice receive his winnings? This from mlive.com:
Justice elected to receive his prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $390,000 rather than the annuity worth $25,000 a year for the rest of his life or 20 years, whichever is greater. With his winnings, Justice plans on buying a new car, sharing some with family and paying bills.
What I could do with $390,000. I certainly wouldn't spend it all right away, that's for sure. I like Michael's idea of buying a new car, paying a few bills, and sharing some cash winnings with his family.
Have you noticed lately there have been several big winners from Michigan, and I'm not one of them? I'm the guy who wakes up the next morning and realizes I didn't match any numbers on any lottery ticket or scratch off game.
So why is it that everyone else wins big and I'm always left holding an empty wallet? I need to come up with a better game plan or have someone else buy my lottery tickets.
Congratulations to Michael Justice of Battle Creek and enjoy $390,000!
