This world we live in today is nothing like the world I remember back in the 70's and 80's. So many things have changed over the years and I don't mean for the better.

There's so much hatred and violence going on in our country and nothing seems to be getting any better.

For example: the fight that took place in Ann Arbor during the MSU/U of M rivalry football game. All because of poor sportsmanship. Shouldn't have happened in the first place.

What about all the gun violence happening in our country, and yet nothing is being done about it. Crime in many states is at an all time high, and it's not getting any better.

Let's add something else to this article. How about a couple of shoppers being distracted by a group of young people, and then somehow stole their credit cards and used them to buy expensive items.

This all happened in Ottawa County, here in Michigan. Here's more from mlive.com:

The thefts happened Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Holland Township businesses, Meijer Inc. and HomeGoods. The stolen cards were quickly used at the nearby Sam’s Club, Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies said.

This is so uncalled for. Innocent people out shopping and minding their own business, and then being taken advantage of.

We're sure by now that all of the shoppers have canceled their credit cards, but this is the sort of thing we're talking about. Too many bad people are not making this world a better place.

I read about all kinds of horrible crimes being committed in this country pretty much every single day and there's no end to it.

Some of these crime stories are so negative, that you just shake your head in such disbelief and the only thing that comes to mind is, when is this craziness ever going to end?
