Michigan lawmakers are now on summer break and failed to reach a major road-funding deal, despite support for such a plan from business and labor groups and Michigan voters.

Basically, there will be no-new money during the summer and fall construction seasons to fix crater marked roads and bridges.

Experts said Michigan roads and bridges continue to deteriorate, and that the more time that goes by, the more expensive the fix will be.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal!
