Michigan Avenue Getting Much Needed Makeover

Michigan Avenue is getting a new look as workers launch a repaving project this week.  Work on the mile long stretch from Pennsylvania Avenue to just west of U.S. 127, started Monday and should be complete by the end of the month.

Lane closures and traffic delays are possible in the work area, and some areas may be closed to traffic while asphalt cools.  Kalamazoo Street is a recommended detour for those wishing to avoid the work area.
