Memorial Day Parades Take Place Saturday and Monday

Memorial Day parades and ceremonies will take place this weekend.  On Saturday, May 28, the City of Lansing Memorial Day Ceremony will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery on E. Mount Hope.  Opening remarks will be given by Mayor Virg Bernaro.

Grand Ledge will have their Memorial Day Parade on Saturday as well starting at 11 a.m.  All Veterans are invited to march in the parade.  The route begins at Jackson & Jefferson streets.

According to WILX-TV 10,  all other Memorial Day Parades will take place on Monday, May 30.  This includes Holt, Mason, St. Johns, Charlotte, Dansville and several others.

Haslett will have their Memorial Day Service beginning at 11 a.m. at Ralya Elementary School.  Dansville is having a Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast featuring pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, applesauce and more.  Click on the above link to find all Parades taking place over the Memorial Day weekend.
