McLaren Will Build a New $450 Million Hospital in South Lansing

McLaren will build a new $450 million hospital in south Lansing near an intersection of Forest Road and Collins Road.  McLaren bought the land from the MSU Foundation.

The hospital will have 240 beds, a cancer center and an ambulatory care center.  McLaren will expand its research partnership with Michigan State University at the new facility.   It will eventually have more than 1,000 doctors, researchers and teachers.

The new hospital is expected to open in late 2021.  McLaren says the project will create an estimated 2,500 construction jobs and 155 full time and part time jobs once the campus opens.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
