Maze Runner Powered to a Teen Fueled $32.5 Million at the Box Office

The Maze Runner turned a best selling young adult novel into box office gold over the weekend!

Most importantly for the studio, it has launched a young adult franchise, something that's never been done in September before.

Helping make the decision easier for the studio was the film's $34 million overseas haul this weekend.

That means "Maze Runner" brought in more than $81 million globally, more than double its production costs!
