TIME-LAPSE VIDEO: Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Walk, 2016
This is very cool to watch...
MDot recorded this video of the 59th Annual Mackinac Bridge Walk (2016)...
...but with a twist:
It's taken with time-lapse photography...compressing a few hours into just TWO minutes, showing THOUSANDS of people crossing the bridge from St. Ignace to Mackinaw City (I thought it was always the other way around...they musta changed directions last year)!
It begins in darkness before the sun rises...then, at about :16, dawn begins to break...and at :37, if you have a keen eye, you can spot the very first few people making the trek and the floodgate of people start coming through, making this 2-minute video very cool to watch.
Anyway, take a coupla minutes and see for yourself.
It's colorful, cool and captivating.
