Last Meal at Deluca’s Italian Restaurant in Lansing
First of all, let me start out by saying my wife and I love Deluca's Italian Restaurant. Lori and I have been going to Deluca's for the past 10 years or so because we enjoy their food so much.
Everyone knows by now that Deluca's is trying to sell their restaurant but now there happens to be just one little problem.
The person or persons who claimed to have purchased Deluca's Restaurant have bailed out of the deal. So for now, Deluca's has decided to close their doors until further notice. Not sure if it's temporary.
About a week ago, my wife and I went to Deluca's on a Friday night because we were craving their mouthwatering pizza.
Deluca's was so busy that night that we had to wait close to an hour to be seated just so we could enjoy our last meal together at one of the best Michigan restaurants around.
While we were waiting, there were people coming in to pick up their food order. And I mean person after person after person. You would not believe how many pizza boxes I counted going out of the building while we were waiting.
Deluca's was so popular that night that once my wife and I were finally seated, the waitress said that because they were so busy, it would take about an hour and 15 minutes to get our pizza.
So Lori and I decided to order their spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. Worth the drive every time to Deluca's on W. Willow in Lansing.
Deluca's Italian Restaurant has been open since 1960 when it was known as the Willow Bar.
Now we'll just have to wait and see as to what's going to transpire in the near future. And the biggest question, who's going to purchase Deluca's and keep the business running smoothly? (delucaspizza.com)
