Lansing Mall Cinema Going Dark

Everyone has been there several times to see a movie.  The Lansing Mall's theatre complex will show its last movies in July as a new cinema prepares to open with twice as many screens.

A 12-screen Regal Cinemas multiplex is under construction in a former Mervyns department store wing on the north side of the Delta Township shopping mall.  It should open this year.

The six-screen cinema, part of a Grand Rapids-based chain and located in a Lansing Mall outlot building will close July 10.  Gift cards and movie passes must be used before then.
