LaFontaine Purchases Snethkamp for Almost 7 Million

LaFontaine purchased the three buildings at the Snethkamp dealership and the 2.2 acre lot next door for $6.7 million.  Though ownership has changed, the plans have not.

Ryan LaFontaine, CEO of LaFontaine Automotive Group, purchased Bill Snethkamp Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, located at 6131 S. Pennsylvania Ave., on June 1.

The dealership announced in November that it intended to build a $4.8 million Alfa Romeo dealership at the former site of the Governor's Inn, which the city lauded as a way to improve the Pennsylvania corridor near the Interstate 96 ramp.

It's a family run business taken over by a family run business, said CEO Ryan LaFontaine.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
