Monica Has Your Second Chance to Win a Kean's Gift Card

I was at Kean's in downtown Mason last week, and it was awesome. That store is filled with amazing gifts for anyone, even newborns.

I was broadcasting from Kean's and after about 15 minutes went by, I started filling up my shopping basket My mom is 86 and sometimes hard to shop for. She's always saying "I don't need anything," and she doesn't. But there are still things that make a great Mother's Day gift, even if you're mom doesn't "need" anything.

I choose some potpourri. It smells amazing, and I know mom will love it. I also picked up a couple of maple buns; remember those? Kean's has the largest selection of "Old School" candy that I have ever seen. Razzles, slo poke suckers, candy cigarettes, sugar babies, sugar daddies, and a whole lot more. Kean's also has a good old fashioned candy counter where you pick what you want, and they measure it and pop it into a container for you.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the candy at Kean's, but the store is so much more than that. They sell fabric and also pickles that are from a family business near Lake Huron. Freakin Pickles come in different flavors, and my favorites are the dill, dill chips and the horseradish dill chips. Those are pickles with a nice kick to them.

Pants, jeans, sweaters, shirts, jackets and purses plus old fashioned children's toys, throw pillows, beautiful serving pieces and more.
