Katy Perry is coming to Grand Rapids in August.

Perry will kick off the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour on June 22 in Raleigh, N.C., and she has scheduled an Aug. 10 performance at Van Andel Arena.

While tour dates and performances were announced today, ticket sales details have not not yet been released.

The tour features songs from Perry's latest release, "Prism," the fourth studio album by the singer-songwriter. Released by Capitol Records in mid-October, it debuted on Billboard's Top 200 chart, with "Roar," "Unconditionally" and "Dark Horse" the chart-popping singles from the album.

"Prism" is Perry's third million-selling album, having passed that mark last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Prismatic World Tour is coming to light up some of my favorite North American cities this summer, as well as some new cities that you introduced me to through your video requests” Perry said in a statement.

“This colorful show will bring you all the songs you know as well as ones from my new album, Prism."

Kacey Musgraves will be opening for Perry in Grand Rapids. Also opening for Perry during the four-month tour will be Capital Cities and Tegan and Sara.

Perry also performs Aug. 7 at Chicago's United Center with Capital Cities and Aug. 11 at The Palace in Auburn Hills with Musgraves.
