Flint’s 4th of July Fireworks Rescheduled for August
Genesee County residents will have the opportunity to finally see the 4th of July fireworks show originally scheduled for earlier this month.
The City of Flint had to postpone the 2023 fireworks show scheduled for Sunday, July 2 due to rain in the forecast and the potential impact it would cause to air quality.
What is the Rescheduled Date for Flint's Fireworks Show?
According to Mid-Michigan Now, the City of Flint is partnering with the Flint Downtown Development Authority to present fireworks during Back to the Bricks on Friday, August 18.
Where and What Time Will the Fireworks Show Take Place?
The fireworks show will start at dusk (roughly 9:30 pm). They plan to launch the fireworks from Chevy Commons, but it will be visible from the downtown area.
Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley:
I want to thank our great partners for coming together to bring a second fireworks display to our community this summer. family-friendly activities like these are important opportunities to unite our community, encourage fellowship among residents, and create a sense of pride in our great city.
This will be a fantastic addition to Back to the Bricks which attracts more than 500,000 car show enthusiasts annually to Genesee County.
