McDonald's is second with 539, followed by Taco Bell in third with 298. Burger King and Little Caesars round out the top five, followed by Wendy's, Tim Hortons, Arby's, KFC and Starbucks.

According to CashNetUSA, the highest-rated fast food restaurant in Michigan isn't a burger joint. It doesn't sell coneys, or pizza, or Mexican food.

As a matter of fact, it's not even open on Sundays and only has 29 locations throughout the state.

As is the case in 34 of America's 50 states, Michigan loves its Chick-fil-A. The restaurant's drive-thru reigns supreme on the nationwide Customer Satisfaction Index, and pretty much anywhere you find one in Michigan, you'll find a line of customers waiting to get their Chick-fil-A fix.

The CashNetUSA study went on to identify Five Guys as Michigan's highest-rated fast food burger, Papa Murphy's as the state's highest-rated pizza, and Moe's Southwest Grill (with just 5 Michigan locations) as the state's highest-rated Mexican fast food.
