17 Items Michigan Goodwills Will Not Accept as Donation
It's about that time of year again, where many of us are starting to think about spring cleaning. With this huge, annual cleaning likely also comes some purging and parting with items you no longer need and donating them to Goodwill.
I don't know about you, but I've got plenty of stuff in good repair, I just have no use for it. Anyone with little ones will know how many clothes, toys, and other items they go through in such a short period of time. That's why I love the chance to find these items a new home.
Goodwill keeps good items that just need another home out of landfills. Like the old saying goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure." And who doesn't love a fun trip to the thrift store to see what treasures await for very low prices?
What Can You Donate to Goodwill in Michigan?
While donating to local thrift stores is a great thing, there are some items that you can't donate.

I think most of us typically bag up old clothes, books, shoes, kids toys, and other knickknacks to donate to Goodwill. But you'll want to double-check some items, because Goodwill doesn't accept everything.
