One thing about this tourist destination in Michigan is that it is a lengthy drive from the lower penninsula. The drive up north is always beautiful no matter what time of year you are traveling. If you planning a road trip to this popular Michigan tourist destination you better use the bathroom twice and tell the kids to use it three times before you leave.

What is a Tourist Trap?

It's not a bear trap, trap door or net that will scoop you up into a tree.

a crowdedplace that providesentertainment and things to buy for tourists, often at high prices.

If you look at it that way, every destination is a tourist trap.

The Worst Tourist Trap in Michigan & 5th Worst in America

I have driven by this tourist trap numerous times during my travels to the U.P. Whenever I drive by, it's always busy. That's a good thing. Folks love stopping in to try to solve the mystery.

The worst tourist trap in Michigan is the Mystery Spot located five miles west of St. Ignace. I'll give it a shot, contrary to Chris' review.
