Riverside Natural Foods Inc. has issued a recall of specific brands of their MadeGood granola bars due to the potential presence of metal pieces, causing a safety hazard if consumed.

Metal when consumed can cause severe damage to your mouth, throat and even your intestines, if consumed. It could also lead to sepsis infection, which can be fatal at times. Some metals are even high in toxins if consumed. So it's best to verify you do not have this product.

These products were distributed across the United States, including Michigan, as well as in Canada and other international markets.

The recall includes the following MadeGood granola bar varieties produced between January and November 2024:

• 688201212566 - Mixed Berry Granola Bars
• 688201212573 - Strawberry Granola Bars

If you have any of these products, please stop consumption immediately. Return the recalled products to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
