Michigan Woman Checks Out at Kroeger By Knocking Out The Clerk
A Michigan woman went to check out at a Kroeger grocery store but knocked out the store clerk instead and you can see the video here.
Self Check Out or Cashier?
It was in 1995 when Kroeger introduced self-checkout stations allowing customers with small amounts of items to check themselves out to speed up the line process in the grocery store chain.
Fast forward 28 years later and nearly every store chain has self-checkout lanes and in most cases has more of those than actual cashiers to ring up full loads of groceries.
I don't know about you, but I rarely go through a checkout line operated by a cashier. I never have a full cart of groceries and don't need the small talk either. One Michigan woman didn't like the small talk with her cashier so she knocked her out.
Instead of Checking Out, Michigan Woman Knocks Out Kroeger Cashier
A 20-year-old woman shopping at a Kroeger in St. Clair Shores was unhappy that her account was short on money so she decided to take it out on a 49-year-old store clerk by punching her which led to the woman getting knocked out.
I've watched the video probably 10 times and I don't see the woman hit the clerk. What I see is the woman grabbing the clerk by the throat then taking a swing and missing while the clerk's head gets slammed on the hard floor knocking her out. Nonetheless, the woman was the cause of the clerk going down but you can see the video below and decide if it was a wrestler punch or if she did connect.
According to FOX 2, the clerk did get a black eye so apparently, the angry shopper must have connected when she took a swing. When the shopper's Bridge Card didn't have enough money to cover her items, she spoke with the clerk then walked over and popped her in the face. It's not a good look for the shopper who did all this right in front of her one-year-old and with it being caught on camera, it's not going to be a good look when she gets in front of a judge.
