Help Mid-Michigan Families: 31st Annual Walk For Warmth Feb. 27th
How about you and the family get together, get outside, get some fresh air, and talk a walk.
For you and your family, and other families here in Mid-Michigan.
A walk for fun, for health, and most importantly, a WALK FOR WARMTH.
Our friends at Capital Area Community Services are having their 31st Annual Walk For Warmth 5K, Saturday February 27th.
As we continue to have minimal home heating assistance funding available, it is important to raise local funds to help area families. Although there are no immediate solutions available to resolve this crisis, you can help by joining us to raise funds to assist your friends and neighbors. 100% of all funds raised will directly assist those who may not be able to heat their homes. This event will be held virtually because of the pandemic to keep you and your family safe, but it also gives you more flexibility and you can do it at your own pace. You can bring the dog as long as you're walking where dogs are permitted.
You can also walk anywhere, anytime, and anyplace on the day of the event.
Sign up to participate HERE.
Each registration gets a free t-shirt and there is a free kids mile option.
Don't want to walk but still want to help? You can make a donation HERE.
