Governor Whitmer Calls on Michigan Legislature
Michigan's coronavirus trends are getting worse as winter slowly approaches. State coronavirus data shows daily case numbers surged in October and are not slowing down.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Governor Gretchen Whitmer called on legislators to pass a law requiring residents to wear masks in indoor places and crowded outdoor areas.
You would think by now that most people would get this. Mask up, mask up, mask up! Not only for your safety but for the safety of others.

Whitmer said this is the law under epidemic orders. We've known for a long time that the single most important weapon that we have against this virus is the simple task of wearing a mask.
We all feel the same way, we're tired of dealing with COVID-19, but ignoring the problem is making it worse.
We're all in this together, and that should also mean, everyone wears a mask to stop the spread of this deadly virus.
State health orders issued in October already require mask wearing in public. Governor Whitmer thinks that putting the requirement in law would encourage Michiganders to take the precaution more seriously. (Detroit Free Press)
I remember reading about COVID-19 several months back when two experts said that sooner or later, you will know someone or someone in your immediate family who has tested positive for the coronavirus. My friends, that time is now. Please Mask Up!
