Golf Leagues Begin in April at Most Michigan Golf Courses

This post has my name written all over it. Why? Because I love golf and I like playing at several local golf courses in the Greater Lansing area.

Here's the best part, bowling season is about to end and golf leagues start to form and it's nothing but swing time with your friends.

There are several golf courses right here is this area that I love playing. Here are my top three favorite local golf courses:

1.Eldorado Golf Course. This is a beautiful 27 hole golf course that is well kept up and a very popular place for league play. It's located on Howell Rd. in Mason. I've been playing golf at Eldorado for well over twenty years.

2. Hawk Hollow. Another great golf course. Hawk Hollow is on Chandler Rd. in Bath Township. They feature complete practice facilities to work on your game. Hawk Hollow is a 27 hole championship layout and one of the top courses in Michigan.

3. Groesbeck Golf Course. This is a very nice Lansing city course which features 18 holes of golf. It's located on Chavez Avenue. This popular golf course will challenge all skill levels.

That's just a few of my favorite golf courses to play in the Greater Lansing area.

Others that I like to play are Forest Akers East, Indian Hills, Grand Ledge Meadows, Ironwood Links in Mason and so many more.

If you take a look at the big picture for all of Michigan. There are a total of 1,074 public and private golf courses built to please just about every golfer around..

I try to play at least five new golf courses every summer just to bring on a new challenge. With that comes a lot of lost golf balls, but yet lots of fun with my friends on any given day during spring, summer, and part of fall. Happy golfing!
