General Motors is recalling more than a million big trucks and SUV's in the U.S., because of what they are saying is a problem with the power assisted steering, apparently it can briefly shut down.

Covered under the recall is certain 2015 Chevrolet Silverado's, and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups as well as Chevy Tahoe and Suburban SUV's .  Other GM vehicles on the list are 2015 Cadillac Escalade's and GMC Yukon SUV's.\

The automaker is saying that the power steering can fail momentarily during a voltage drop and then suddenly return, this apparently happens during low-speed turns.

While announcing the recall, GM did not  mention any crashes that may have occured
