General Motors Unveiling 2024 Models Being Built in Flint

The last brand new vehicle I purchased was back in 2019. In fact. I'm still driving that same vehicle these days because I enjoy the smooth ride and it's in really good shape.

This never stops me from looking at the 2023 and 2024 models. I think what really intrigues me is all the new technology that goes into building them at Flint's assembly  plant.

Here's some really good news, General Motors is promoting 2024 Silverado's and Sierra trucks that will be built right here in Michigan.

According to mlive.com:

GM unveiled the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD in advance of its third-quarter sales results and earlier this month, announced the new GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and the 2024 Sierra lineup -- vehicles that are on the horizon for Flint Assembly.

I'll tell you what, I've been in love with the Chevrolet Silverado's for a very long time and while we're at it, the Sierra trucks are very nice too.

I can't wait to go to a local car dealership to check out these new and upcoming vehicles. You see a lot of these trucks on the roads today and they are nothing short of awesome.

The 2024 heavy-duty trucks have received interior, exterior and performance upgrades across the lineup, the company said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 18.In promotional materials, GM touts the 2024 Silverado’s powerful engines, including the enhanced Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8, Allison 10-speed transmission, advanced towing technology, new interior, and an available 13.4-inch diagonal touch screen.The company describes the first-ever Sierra HD Denali Ultimate as the “most advanced luxurious heavy-duty pickup truck in its class.”

The 2024 Silverado and Sierra trucks are going to be spectacular. It's nice to know they're being built in Flint and that production will begin sometime in 2023. Pricing for these vehicles will be made public at that time.
