Frito Lay Recalled Several Chip Products

Frito Lay has recalled several chip products due to fears of salmonella.  The recall involves select Jalapeno Flavored Lay's Kettle Cooked potato chips and Jalapeno Flavored Miss Vickie's Kettle Cooked potato chips due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the seasoning.

The action comes after a supplier's recent recall of a seasoning blend which includes jalapeno powder that could contain Salmonella.

No Salmonella was found in the seasoning supplied to Frito-Lay.  However, the company has decided to recall these products out of an abundance of caution, according to the FDA.  WILX-TV 10 has all the information.
