Family Fun is just 3 Hours Away

Are you ready for big summertime thrills?  Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio officiallly opens this Saturday May 10.   Here's what new this summer at Cedar Point!

Pipe Scream:  The coaster combines "the best of a roller coaster and a flat ride in one."  Riders spin along 302 feet of track, reaching a maximum height of 43 feet and at speeds topping 40 miles per hour.

Lake Erie Eagles:  A new family ride at Cedar point.  Guests on Lake Erie Eagles will sit in one of eight ride carriages located more than 28 feet above the ground.  The carriages swing outward, simulating the sensation of flight.

How about one more called "Slingshot."  Slingshot will open sometime in June.  Passengers are secured in an open-air, two person capsule and launched roughly 360 feet into the air at speeds of up to 62 miles per hour.
