Eaton Rapids Bridge Jumping Could Be Banned Soon
According to WILX-TV 10, Eaton Rapids' council members are working on an ordinance that would ban bridge jumping. People have been jumping off bridges in Eaton Rapids for more than a decade.
The media every year gives many accounts of somebody doing such a thing and they end up drowning, hurting themselves or even becoming paralyzed. This is an effort to protect the health and welfare of their citizens.
Kids and teenagers in the city are not happy about the possibility of bridge jumping being taken away. More information about the ordinance will be presented at the next council meeting on July 10th.
