The Capital Area District Library's downtown branch will close for roughly three months as it undergoes a $670,000 renovation.

The renovations will include a redesigned lobby, open floor plan, first and second floor service desks that will combine information and circulation service, study rooms, updated restrooms, new carpet and tables with power and USB plug ins.

The project also will reconfigure the library's floor plan.  New non fiction titles will be relocated to the first floor alongside fiction, children's and young adult titles.  Click below on the Lansing State Journal for more information.
