WOW...did you know Michigan had MOUNTAINS?

Sure...and this area is gorgeous - another travel tip for your vacation needs this summer...and you'll be spending your money here in Michigan rather than in some other state.

You're looking at the Porcupine Mountains west of Ontonagon in the U.P.

If you look closely, you can see the Lake of the Clouds in the left half of the picture. Also in this area is Shining Cloud Falls and is home to ALL sorts of wildlife: bald eagles, black bears, bobcats, coyotes, deer, fish, moose and even wolves!

Take a side trip up there this summer and enjoy Michigan...
