Man Launches Firework From His Head, Dies

Well as predicted...there were morons across the country who were hurt, maimed and even killed by legal fireworks over the July 4 weekend.

In a never-ending quest for stupid, danger-defying stunts by idiots nationwide, this particular incident ended in a death.

I don't deny the tragedy of something like this; but at the same time, you have to wonder where all the good American sensibilities go when we are among our peers.

This particular young man from Maine (age 22) lit a mortar firework off his head and died instantly. A spokesman from the State Department of Public Safety said: "Apparently, he thought that was a great idea. His friends thought they dissuaded him from doing it, and the next thing they knew, he ignited the fireworks and he was killed instantly."
