The coronavirus will get much worse before it gets better. The White House projects upwards of 100,000 to 240,000 deaths from this pandemic. President Trump says to prepare for a "very painful two weeks."

The first case of Covid-19 in Michigan came on March 10th, and in a short amount of time the virus in our state is now at 7,615 and those numbers will be higher by the end of the day.

My 33-year-old cousin Brian had the first case in Shiawassee County, this was last week and he was air lifted to U of M hospital where he remains on a ventilator in ICU dealing with high temps. His labs are coming back good including kidney, but he remains sedated and on a ventilator. The doctors have been using a Malaria drug on him and that does appear to be helping a bit.

As our state deals with this pandemic, our Governor has done a good job, so good in fact that she has caught the eye of Presidential Candidate Joe Biden. Could a Vice Presidential job be in her future?

As the coronavirus in Michigan continues to grow at an astounding rate, the state is accepting donations from the public to support critical services. Donations will be used strictly for medical equipment.

The next update from Governor Whitmer will come this afternoon.
