Claire’s is Recalling Cosmetic Products That May Contain Asbestos

Believe it or not, Claire's is recalling some cosmetic products that may have the presence of asbestos.

According to WILX-News 10, Your Breaking News and Weather Authority, the FDA issued a safety alert on the products earlier this month.  Claire's initially took issue with the FDA's tests.

The products were sold in stores and on the store's website between October 2016 and March 2019.

They initiated this voluntary recall after testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration indicated the possible presence of asbestos fibers in product samples from one lot of each product.   For a list of cosmetic products being recalled, please click on the above link.
